SENATORS TO PNP: Use TV, radio in campaign against illegal war
On Thursday, while the hearing on extrajudicial killings, Senators said the Philippine National Police (PNP) to use radio and television in its anti-drug campaign, for keep the public aware of the progress of the said campaign.

“There is a provision on all franchises of public radio and television” Senator Gordon said.
According to Senator Gregorio Honasan II, the PNP must inventory the tools at its disposal, he also cited the amount of time needed to use media.
“One, yung National Telecommunications Commission requires broadcast media 30 hours a month, that’s one hour a day for public information. Baka ito yung moderating influence (that you need). Harness these 30 hours per month, radio and TV, para makapag-announce kayo,” Honasan told PNP.
“Yung demand reduction babalik at babalik tayo sa public information system. Baka pwede nyong i-explore yun.. meron kayong seryosong public information program para nalalaman na kabataan, ng bawat pamilya,” He said.
“This problem has already entered our homes, our schools, our places of work, and our places of worship. Talagang Malala na, we never thought it was this bad,” Honasad added.
