May circumstances din,” Espenido said.

Sabi nila kaming family nakita namin,” he said.

According to Espenido statements, the family Espinosa saw De Lima in Burnham Park in Baguio City while having conversation both De Lima and Kerwin Espinosa and they had picture taken with her.

“Sabi niya first time sila magkita ni Ma’am (De Lima), 'yung anak niya si Kevin, doon nakita sila at pinicturan pa. Nagsama sila ng Espinosa family doon. 'Yun ang validation namin,” he said.

Sa affidavit ni Kevin, P8M ang binigay nong first magkita sila,” he said.

Espenido stated that the money was handed to De Lima in a restaurant near SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City.
