Cancelled firearms sale by US, Yasay said: Palagay ko hindi tama yung report na yon
Secretary Perfecto Yasay Jr. said on Thursday has yet to receive an official report on the US government’s regarding the decision to cancelled the assault rifle to the Philippines.

According to Yasay, in an interview with GMA said that the decision to stop the sale of firearms was not correct.
"Ewan ko kung anong magiging response ng State Department diyan. As of now, we do not have any official word from the State Department," Yasay said.
"At nabasa ko sa diyaryo, other media reports, na US State Department raw ang nagka-cancel. Palagay ko hindi tama 'yung report na 'yon," he added.
Recently, according to State Department reportedly stopped the sale of firearms for the Philippines.
Meanwhile, Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte said that they could turn to Russia or China to buy rifles.
