Gumawa ka ng paraan Bato! Sen. Lacson urges Dela Rosa to preserve PNP's good image
According to Senator Ping Lacson, the Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Director General “Bato” dela Rosa must maintain the good impression of policemen under his leadership.
"If there's anyone here who understands law enforcement, especially kung ano ang buhay ng pulis, ako siguro 'yun. Ako, I for one, I can speak for myself. I can give you so much leeway doon sa inyong enforcement” Lacson said.
"Pero pagka masyadong blatant na, with impunity, I think as chief PNP, you should do something," Lacson added.
During the Estrada administration, Lacson was the PNP chief in that time, saying that during his leadership, he can keep his eyes close to small things.
Meanwhile, Dela Rosa said that it was difficult to follow the step of Sen. Lacson, but claimed that he will never give up.
"Alam ko kung paano mo ni-lead 'yung PNP during your time, at 'yan po ang gusto kong sundin, pero mukhang hindi ko yata kaya Sir kasi 'yung standard mo'y mahirap sundan. Nag-iisa lang 'yung General Lacson, ako si Bato lang," he told Lacson.
