Isusunod na ba ako? Espinosa lawyer fears she’s next on hit list
Leila Trinidad Villarino, the lawyer of killed Mayor Rolando Espinosa afraid that maybe she will also be killed and follow Espinosa to the grave.

“Considering the questionable circumstances surrounding the death of my client, I feel that I am also in danger,” read Villarino’s letter to VACC chairman Dante Jimenez.
“I believe that you can maybe help me to get my plea across Gen. dela Rosa and/or to the current Regional Director of PRO 7, PCSupt Taliño to provide me with security escort/s,” she added.
She recounted that “the former lawyer of the late Mayor Espinosa, Atty. Rogelio Bato, Jr. was ambushed sometime last August 2016.”
“Due to the gravity and seriousness of the allegations of my client in his sworn statements implicating top politicians, police officials and other notable individuals, I fear that I will suffer the same fate with Atty. Bato,” she said.
Mayor Rolando Espinosa, in his affidavit, he identified 226 persons were involved in illegal drugs which includes 19 politician, 4 members of the judiciary, and 38 policemen.
