THE TRUTH ABOUT ESQUIRE DEC-JAN ISSUE

Inemail nila ang aking Manager at sinabing they are featuring "noteworthy" people this year. Hindi man nilang direktang sinabi na ako ay villain sa isyu na ito ngunit napaka-obvious naman dahil din sa mga katagang 'IN THE END, GOOD WILL PREVAIL OVER EVIL' na sinundan pa ng- 'Vice President Leni Robredo remains optimistic in the face of her own dismay at the state’s decision to bury a dictator, keeping faith in the triumph of justice."'
Ramdam ko ang pagiging elitista nila during the Interview. The truth will always prevail!"

“IN THE END, GOOD WILL PREVAIL OVER EVIL.”

Vice President Leni Robredo remains optimistic in the face of her own dismay at the state’s decision to bury a dictator, keeping faith in the triumph of justice.

The Vice President is among the Heroes & Villains of A Strange Year, our tally of personalities who have made 2016 what it is, for better or worse. As part of this list, we speak to pro-administration online activist Mocha Uson, whose growing political influence via MOCHA USON BLOG must no longer be ignored; as well as Human Rights Commissioner Chito Gascon, whose opposition to the War on Drugs continues to be a Sisyphean effort. As this discordant and adversarial year comes to a close, our December 2016 / January 2017 issue is an invitation to take stock of its most important players: Who’s been naughty, and who’s been nice?

Also in this issue: Whisky authority Jim Murray and motoring editor Vernon B. Sarne talk about the importance of journalistic integrity; we look at the feminist subtext of the Star Wars franchise’s latest expansion; Hendricks Gin ambassador, bartender, and Woman We Love Tasha Lu explains her tattoos; and Jose Mari Chan evaluates his iconic status in our culture’s holiday season.
