Ang daming pumuputak-putak na hindi alam ang history ng pakikibaka nina FVR, PRRD at ako way back in the early '90's.

Ngayon nag-sama sama muli kami sa paglilingkod sa bayan. FVR at ako bilang mamamayan at supporter ni PRRD.

At dahil sa aming samahan sa public service noong panahon ni Pangulong FVR, we respect each other and listen to each other's counsel or critiques.

Kayong mga bata, ang aming edad ay 88 (FVR); 71 (PRRD); at 68 ang inyong lingkod. Alamin ninyo kung sino linilecture ninyo or pinagsasabihan. Magbasa kayo at makinig.

Yung mga nakikisawsaw at gumigitna sa amin na hindi naman kinumbida sa usapan at wala ring alam, tabi muna, masdan at pag-aralan ang aming pinararating sa inyo based on our experience.

Public service namin ang sharing ng aming karanasan at nalalaman for institutional memory and knowledge.

"President Rodrigo Duterte on Saturday acknowledged former president Fidel V. Ramos as his "number one critic and supporter" at the start of his speech before fellow graduates of the San Beda College of Law.

"Former President Fidel Ramos, my number critic and number one supporter, and that is good," he said, drawing cheers from the crowd.

In the audience, Ramos stood up, raised his hands in fist resembling Duterte's signature campaign pose, jumped and gave a thumbs-up sign.

Duterte then observed, "Dissent and criticism would make this democratic country healthy."

"Ramos was instrumental in convincing Duterte to run in the May elections and was appointed by the President as the Philippines' special envoy to China in July."
