Weh di nga? Duterte doubts Vicente Loot’s got more that 100M through buy and sell


President Rodrigo Duterte, in a speech at the Manila Hotel, in his pronouncement said that he is not convinced with retired Chief Supt. Vicente Loot’s claim that through a buy and sell business he accumulate wealth of more than 100 million.

Vicente Loot is one of Duterte named of the co-called “narco generals” involved in the illegal drug trade.



“Ang pulis noon hindi nagtatrabaho. Ang pulis noon na live and let live, basta wag mo lang ako iisahan. Tawag nila mga ninja, and of course, the generals,” he said.

“Loot, noong region assigned siya sa Cebu, accumulated 100 million. Sabi niya nakabili daw siya ng, buy and sell siya ng bahay. Kung bahay, nagsabi siya na nagpapabili ako ng subdivision, maniwala ako. Magpabili ka ng bahay, mag ahente ka ng bahay? Bakit pag-akyat mo doon sa pinagbibilihan mo bayad kaagad?” the President said.

Loot claimed that he has 18 houses, five luxury vehicles that she acquired through legal and bank loans.

Loot also declared his wealth a net worth of 106.7 million. According to him aside from buy and sell business, some of his houses rented out and his wife Maria Luisa Loot, sold jewelry.
