Duterte to BIR and Customs “This time you have to change your lifestyle because Filipinos have already suffered.”



“Ang BIR, an institution known to be corrupt since time immemorial, kailangan huminto na kayo. Customs, for the longest time maganda ang buhay ninyo, not just the BIR, On the side, except your salary, meron kayong kinikita na parang allowance (bukod sa) suweldo (ninyo,” Duterte said.

President Rodrigo Duterte urging the government employees to start changing their lifestyle because generation of Filipinos have already suffered.

Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and Bureau of Customs (BOC) are the most corrupt agencies according the President Duterte.

“Ang BIR, an institution known to be corrupt since time immemorial, kailangan huminto na kayo. Customs, for the longest time maganda ang buhay ninyo, not just the BIR, On the side, except your salary, meron kayong kinikita na parang allowance (bukod sa) suweldo (ninyo,” Duterte said.

“This time you have to change your lifestyle, less expense. Maybe if you buy a car every other year, make it five years, and try to be just an ordinary government worker,” Duterte added.

“We all have feet of clay. Tao lang tayo so may mga kasalanan din tayo. But, you know, making the people of the Republic of the Philippines your milking cow, mahirap yan. Hindi ako sanay ng ganoon and I do not want it,” he said.

“I promise to the people. I put at stake my life, my honor and even the presidency itself. Corruption must stop,” he declared, drawing loud applause and cheers from the audience.
“If you really want to help your country, now is the time na ako nandiyan [while I’m there]. All I ask from you is do not lie to me,” Duterte said.

The President said he will fire anybody or putting somewhere else. If he knew anyone involved in corruption.

Duterte also warned mayors involved in illegal drug operations to change their ways because he would kill those who will ruin children’s lives.

“If you destroy my children, I will kill you,”

“I have zero tolerance on drugs and criminality. I would never preside over the affairs of the country with a corrupt police and [with]drugs abound destroying the lives of Filipinos,” he added.
