Kaya yumaman? Former ABS-CBN news exec Charie Villa links Andy Bautista to Smartmatic, 'rigging' of 2016 polls

In a Facebook post, former ABS-CBN news executive Charie Villa believes Commission on elections (Comelec) chair Andres Bautista managed to amass close to P1 billion in undeclared wealth because of election rigging and his ties to voting technology firm Smartmatic.

Villa said the bombshell dropped by Bautista's wife about his supposed undeclared wealth meant the Comelec chief recieved commissions from Divina Law, the firm representing the Venezuelan tech company.
"Ill-gotten wealth via election rigging, and as Philippine Commission on Good Government) (PCGG) chair-amassing hidden wealth as soon as he say in government," Villa said.

In the comments section of the post, Villa said Diviba issued checks to bautista and his sister, Susan Bautista Afan. There were also documents with the phrase "commission slips."

One document which bautista's wife discovered was a check issued as a commission for Smartmatic.

  2. With our kind of justice system, I don't really know if this case against Andres Bautista will proper in court. We still have this "ningas cogon" attitude which make us go ballistic at discovering a malfeasance. Then just as suddenly we forget all about it, which is when the corrupt lawyers, corrupt prosecutors, and corrupt judges go to do their work; that is, grease money changing hands.
